acrylic on existing architecture, florescent light

This impermanent, site-responsive drawing is rendered in acrylic directly onto the gallery’s existing architecture beneath the staircase. Lit by fluorescent light, the drawing initially reads as a projected shadow before the subtle divergence between the railing’s pattern and the painted pattern becomes visible, gradually opening and fading at one end.
